3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. Booking and Payments

4.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking through our Platform:

• You must provide accurate passenger information
• You agree to pay the total amount displayed, including all applicable fees and taxes
• You acknowledge that bookings are subject to seat availability
• You will receive a confirmation email and digital ticket upon successful payment

4.2 Pricing

• All prices are displayed in the local currency of the route origin
• Prices may vary based on route, date, time, and demand
• The price at checkout is final and binding
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors

4.3 Payment

• Payment must be made at the time of booking
• We accept various payment methods as displayed on the Platform
• All payments are processed securely through our payment partners
• Payment confirmation indicates acceptance of these Terms

4.4 Service Fees

BookDito may charge service fees for bookings made through our Platform. These fees are clearly displayed before payment and are non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled by the operator.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation by Travelers

Cancellation policies are set by individual bus operators and are displayed at the time of booking. These typically include:

• Cancellation deadlines (hours or days before departure)
• Applicable cancellation fees or penalties
• Refund processing timeframes

5.2 Cancellation by Operators

If an operator cancels your trip:

• You will be notified immediately via email and SMS
• You are entitled to a full refund, including service fees
• Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for booking, unless otherwise specified by applicable law or payment provider limitations.

6. Travel Responsibilities

6.1 Passenger Obligations

As a traveler, you must:

• Arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure
• Carry a valid ID matching the booking details
• Present your digital or printed ticket for verification
• Follow operator rules and regulations
• Respect other passengers and operator staff

6.2 Missed Departures

BookDito is not responsible for missed departures due to late arrival. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or late arrivals.

6.3 Bus Operator Responsibility

The actual transportation service is provided by independent bus operators. BookDito acts solely as a technology platform connecting travelers with operators. Operators are responsible for:

• Safe and reliable transportation
• Adherence to schedules (subject to road conditions)
• Service quality and amenities
• Compliance with transportation regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is owned by BookDito or licensed to us. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Modify or create derivative works
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with Platform operations or security
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or staff
• Use automated systems (bots) without permission
• Resell tickets for profit beyond face value

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Platform Operation

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for:

• Temporary unavailability or technical issues
• Loss of data or business opportunities
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9.2 Operator Services

BookDito is a technology platform and booking intermediary. We are not liable for:

• Delays, cancellations, or service quality issues
• Accidents, injuries, or loss of property during travel
• Actions or omissions of bus operators
• Route changes or schedule modifications by operators

9.3 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BookDito, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Platform
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any fraudulent or illegal activity

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date.
